The International Medical Competency Accreditation Council (IMCAC) invites committed professionals from around the world to contribute to shaping the future of global medical education, training, and institutional excellence.

Whether you're a seasoned educator, accreditation expert, health policy advisor, or an experienced administrator — we welcome you to become a part of our growing international leadership and operational team.

Leadership & Expert Roles

We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the following honorary and appointed positions:
  • Governing Board Members Visionaries and decision-makers with experience in health education, academic regulation, or international collaboration.
  • Academic & Accreditation Council Members Medical educators, trainers, curriculum developers, or certification specialists with a proven track record of excellence.
  • Ethics and Compliance Committee Members Legal, medical, or regulatory professionals with expertise in institutional governance and ethical oversight.
  • International Advisory Board Thought leaders who can provide strategic guidance, global perspectives, and foster high-level institutional alliances.

Secretariat & Administrative Roles

We also welcome expressions of interest for voluntary and project-based secretariat positions that support IMCAC’s operations:
  • Executive Secretariat (Country/Regional Level) Responsible for coordinating IMCAC programs, memberships, and institutional outreach within their region.
  • Accreditation Coordinators Support the technical evaluation, document review, and coordination with applicant institutions.
  • Communications & Event Assistants Help manage outreach, virtual events, public relations, and communications with global partners.

Eligibility Criteria

Proven experience in medical education, regulation, accreditation, or professional training
Strong ethical standards and commitment to quality improvement
Cross-cultural communication skills and global outlook
Ability to contribute time on a flexible basis (remote roles available)

Expectations & Responsibilities

Leaders and Secretariat members are expected to:
Represent IMCAC with integrity and professionalism
Guide the development of certification, education, or safety frameworks
Attend quarterly online advisory meetings
Support outreach, pro bono, and regulatory alignment projects
Commit to IMCAC’s Code of Ethics and Safety Charter
Most roles are honorary (non-paid) in this founding phase but offer:
Global recognition and digital certificate of appointment
Priority involvement in summits, publications, and partnerships
Opportunity to co-develop global policies and training models
Confidentiality and Review Process
All applications will be treated confidentially and reviewed by the IMCAC Selection Committee. Shortlisted applicants may be contacted for an online interaction.
